Janelle Johnson is part of the 80’s generation that emerged as the popularity of classical decorative painting exploded in the art world. Janelle enjoys designing with flowers, still life and animals.
Her foundation of studies in color and design has greatly influenced her current body of work. Janelle has worked in colored pencil for two decades and shares her love of the medium while travel teaching across the country and in her studio in Mount Dora, FL.
Janelle is now part of the generation that has emerged in the colored pencil field and she’s enjoying this new and exciting adventure. Especially with online classes and student’s ability to learn with time, travel and resources not being a factor to hinder creativity and access to the arts. Janelle lives life with a point on the pencil!
